A feud that is massive erupted over a brand new policy Amnesty Overseas is considering suggesting the decriminalization of intercourse work. A large band of a-listers, including Lena Dunham, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, and Anne Hathaway, has accompanied along with other businesses in decrying the proposition, framing it as calling for “the decriminalization of pimps, brothel owners, and buyers of sex — the pillars of the $99 billion worldwide intercourse industry.”
The problem is a contentious one.
The core of Amnesty’s argument is the fact that criminalizing sex work produces barriers that are additional intercourse employees to conquer the difficulties that will have forced them into intercourse work or that counter them from making it, all while needlessly stigmatizing all those who have ever involved in it.
